Kayla Shaw is a recent graduate of West Chester University. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Culture with a concentration in Strategic Communications and a minor in Digital Marketing. She graduated summa cum laude with a GPA of 4.0.

Kayla is pursuing a career in digital and social media marketing. She was the Equity Communications Coordinator intern for the College of Arts and Humanities. Her role included completing press releases for the department as well as managing their social media pages and creating videos to promote initiatives. Kayla was a part of many clubs at West Chester University, including being the president and co-founder of the Sustainable Fashion Club and the On-Campus Housing Senator for the Student Government Association.

Kayla is proficient in Office 365, Google Workspace, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Audition, Canva, Hootsuite, and Basecamp. She has experience in public relations and journalistic writing. She has planned and executed many events between her jobs and clubs.  She has taken courses in web and data analytics, media technology, and digital marketing strategy. Her hobbies include photography, thrifting, and reading.
